Saju Chackalackal lectures on epistemology and ethics at Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram and Christ University, both located in Bangalore, India. At present, he holds the administrative position of the President of Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram, Pontifical Athenaeum of Philosophy, Theology, and Canon Law (2012-). He is involved in research activities pertaining to the broad spectrum of ethics and religion and society. Recent publication is an edited work, Tradition and Innovation: Philosophy of Rootedness and Openness, Bangalore: Asian Trading Corporation, 2011. [ISBN: 978-81-7086-610-7], a collection of articles on the dynamic relation between tradition and innovation, which were presented in the annual conference of the Association of the Christian Philosophers of India (ACPI) in 2010.
